Many students I know ran the Vancouver Marathon on May 31, 2015. The amazing and fast Kevin H from my spin class posted a personal best and attributed his success to being in the hot-tub with the Kenyans the night before, but I say "... well that AND maybe your dedicated training!"

 

Red Deer will host the 2019 Canada Winter Games. Whoop whoop!

 

Tour of Alberta Pro-Cycling Race Sept 2-7, 2015. Sweet! Not in Red Deer this year but it does go through beautiful Jasper National Park, amongst my favorite mountain-biking stomping grounds.
